Celebrating Centennial of Goddard Rocket Launch

Museum Of Worcester gives Spectrum News a sneak peak at new Robert Goddard exhibit.

The Museum of Worcester will open its new exhibit in honor of the Dr. Robert Goddard rocket launch centennial on Monday, March 16th. Vanessa Bumpus, museum Director of Exhibits, gave Spectrum News 1 Worcester a sneak peak at the look back of the extraordinary life of Dr. Goddard. Goddard was born and educated in Worcester and credited with credited with creating and building the world's first liquid-fueled rocket which he launched in Auburn in 1926.
