Community Day – Celebrating Bill Wallace and the completion of our 150 thAnniversary Year

Activities will include:

  • Find the Hidden Mickeys! Those who know Bill Wallace, know that he loves Mickey Mouse. We’ve hidden 49.5 Mickey Mouse pictures in the museum – one for every yar of Bill’s tenure. Can you find them?

  • Valentine Making – Stop by and make a handmade Valentine in the Esther Howland style. Take it home or donate it to Valentine’s for Veterans

  • Smile Chain – Want to add to our Smile Chain? Head to the Smile Gallery and write what makes you smile on a yellow strip of paper. Bring to the front desk and we will ad it to the growing smile chain.

  • Community Partners Meet & Greet – Come say hello to some of our community partners and lean how they are helping preserve and share Worcester’s great stories!

  • Arrive Curious-Leave Fascinated – Stop by the Fuller Gallery of Industrial History to meet members of our Fuller team. They will share the who, what, when and whys of Worcester’s industrial past.

  • Favorite Things – Executive Director Emeritus, Bill Wallace, picked out a few of his favorite collection items from his 49.5 years at the museum. Take a look and see if you can find Bill’s picture in the case. Let the front desk know and win a prize!
