Civil War Cotillion

History / Heritage - Party/Dance

The Blackstone Guards and the New England Brigade present a Civil War era Cotillion to kick off a weekend of Civil War reenactments at Green Hill Park. The evening will include historic vignettes, food, Civil War era music by "Spare Parts," period dancing, a performance by the Commonwealth Vintage Dancers, and cash bar.

The evening will also feature appearances by President Lincoln and First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, General Grant, and other historic figures.

Period dress is encouraged, but not required.
