Abigail Kelley Foster (1811-1887), abolitionist and women’s rights lecturer, was the wife of Stephen Symonds Foster (1809-1881). She was an active lecturer and correspondent during the middle period of the nineteenth century and influenced many notable reformers of the period. This collection contains letters written to Abby Kelley Foster, Stephen Foster and Alla Foster. Letters are from each other and other prominent Abolition and Women’s Rights leaders.
