Annual fund

Gearing up for the continued journey…

Worcester Historical Museum is dedicated to ensuring that the stories and innovations of the past continue to inform and inspire the present and future. Gifts to the Museum’s ANNUAL FUND enable WHM to continue to acquire objects – like the New England Racer bicycle manufactured by J. W. Grady, c. 1910, which recently arrived from a collector in Florida.

This new acquisition is a true gem of the cycling world and a wonderful example of Worcester craftmanship of that time. This two-wheeler represents a strong history and  offers nostalgic charm. It is one of thousands of items in the Museum’s growing collection, all documenting Worcester’s history and industry.

Our commitment is to collect, curate, and interpret a diverse and comprehensive array of artifacts and stories, all in a space where the past, present, and future of Worcester converge. Through engaging exhibits, interactive programs, and community outreach, we strive to:

EDUCATE individuals and groups to learn about Worcester history and culture;

INSPIRE a sense of wonder about Worcester’s history;

CONNECT by serving as a hub for dialogue, collaboration, and shared experiences; and

PRESERVE the history and heritage of Worcester for future generations.

Help us continue to set the pace for an exciting future for Worcester’s past with your gift to the ANNUAL FUND. We appreciate your generosity and support.
