A deserter was shot. Warm and pleasant. Was relieved from guard. The Division fell in line to witness the shooting of a deserter at 3pm. It looked hard.

The new exhibit “Dear Diary…” highlights twelve Worcester residents and a look into the intimate world of their diaries. They tell of stories of people, natural disasters and wartime violence with their pen and paper and while they felt no one would ever see their words, they have become a valuable source to historians and researchers alike. Learn how diaries are used today to research historical facts and the many types of diaries that have been popular overtime.
